Jacobs, Janis E.
Janis Jacobs graduated from Colorado State University (1977), and the University of Michigan (M.A., 1983; Ph.D. psychology, 1987). She served on the University of Nebraska faculty for 15 years, coming to Penn State in 1996. She soon moved to the position of vice president for administration (1999), vice provost for undergraduate education (2002), and vice president and dean for undergraduate education (2005). She died in 2005.
