Whittier, Raymond W., 1887-1946.
Dr. Raymond Whittier was a medical doctor who served in both world wars. He was the first commanding officer of the 38th Evacuation Hospital, beginning with the unit's basic training in 1942. He retired in 1943, while the 38th Evac was stationed in North Africa.
