Farnsworth, James S., 1907-
Variant namesJames S. Farnsworth was born on June 29, 1907 in Paw Paw, Mich. Before he became a state representative for the 54th District, he was an automobile dealer and then mayor of Otsego, Mich. He was also on the Allegan County Board of Supervisors and a delegate to the state constitutional convention. He was a member of the Plainwell Rotary Club and the Allegan Elks Lodge. He was elected to the House in 1962 and served through 1974.
