Merrill, Vera Geddes, 1898-1976.
Mormon pioneer, missionary and farmer. Born Dec. 8, 1832 in Balston, Scotland; immigrated to United States and walked across the plains to Utah in 1854, and homesteaded in Preston, Idaho in 1880. He married Elizabeth Stewart, her sister, Martha Stewart, and Emma Hope.
