Allendale Baptist Church (Allendale County, S.C.)
Church was established in 1868 and was previously known as Smyrna Baptist Church (not to be confused with Smyrna Baptist Church, established in Allendale County, S.C., in 1836 and dissolved in 1958); was dissolved in 1902 "on account of its impoverished and depleted condition ... and not being able to supply a pastor, for even one Sabbath during each month"--P. 53.
