Cornwell, John
Variant namesAccording to Foster Cornwell (great grandson of John), John Cornwell was born May 17, 1812 in the village of Hollwell (now Picton), Prince Edward County, Canada. He died in Athens, Ohio, in 1883. He was the son of David Cornwell (born August 11, 1778 in Massachusetts and died near Gallipolis, Ohio on October 13th, 1819) and Phoebe Gilbert Goldsmith (born October 3, 1786 in Piscataway, Union county, New Jersey and died November 8, 1842).
