King, William A. (William Abbott).
William A. King was an employee of Northrup, King & Co., a Minneapolis-based seed company. His father Lyndon joined the company (of which his father was an owner) in 1910, becoming vice president and treasurer in 1914. In the late 1940s Lyndon was elected president and chairman of the board.
