Special Events Director, Illinois Pavilion, New York World's Fair, 1964-1965.

Marmaduke, a well-known journalist, was appointed by Governor Otto Kerner to head the Special Events Dept. of the Illinois Commission on the New York World's Fair. The Illinois "Land of Lincoln" Pavilion included an extensive collection of Lincoln-related books and artifacts, as well as Walt Disney's "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln" production which featured a mechanically-animated Lincoln robot.
