Central Michigan University. Academic Senate.
The Academic Senate of CMU was established in 1964 as the University Senate. In 1970 the name changed to the Academic Senate. The current role of the Academic Senate is to serve as a legislative body at CMU, in which representatives of the faculty can deliberate in the determination of academic policies.
