Stocking, Joseph, 1774 or 5-1835.
One of Buffalo's earliest merchants; established a hat factory in the village with Joseph Bull. A deacon in the First Presbyterian Church, and a founder of the Bank of Buffalo and the Western Literary and Scientifick Academy.
