Aguiar, Jesus Jose︠.
Aguiar was a treasury official in Cosala︠, Mexico. He collected these documents while the present Mexican States of Sonora and Sinaloa were being formed from the former State of Occidente. Occidente had been created after Mexico achieved independence from Spain in 1821.
