Myer, Erskine Reed

Erskine Reed Myer, one-time faculty member of the University of Colorado and colleague of Francis Wolle, served as Lieutenant, 356th Infantry, 89th Division in France during World War I. Myer served as Regent of the University of Colorado at Boulder (1951-1954). Francis Wolle (1889-1979), donor, served in the infantry as an intelligence officer in France during World War I and later became Professor of English and head of the English Literature Department of the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Francis Wolle (1889-1979), donor, served in the infantry and as an intelligence officer in France during World War I. Professor of English and head of the English Literature Department of the University of Colorado, Boulder, Wolle co-founded the University Theater. He retired from the university in 1957 and was later ordained as a priest in the Episcopal Church.
