Represented are Andrew Talcott (1797-1883), graduate of the United States Military Academy, West Point, N.Y., member of the United States Army Corps of Engineers (and aid-de-camp to Robert E. Lee), chief engineer of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and engineer for numerous railroad projects; Thomas Mann Randolph Talcott (1838-1920), Confederate States Army Corps of Engineers; and George Russell Talcott (b. 1841), also an engineer.
