Kenneth Bonner Wolfe (b. Aug. 12, 1896, Denver, Co.-d. Sept. 20, 1971), Lieutenant General in the U.S. Air Force, enlisted as a flying cadet in the aviation section of the Signal Corps and was commissioned in 1918. He was chief of the production engineering section at Wright Field which was responsible for the development of the B-29 aircraft. He served as commanding general, 58th Bomb Wing, during World War II. After the War he was deputy chief of staff or materiel, U.S. Air Force, until his retirement in 1951.
