Steinmuller, Carolyn, 1927-
Steinmuller was born on 15 August 1927 in Opelousas, La. In 1947, Steinmuller pledged Delta Gamma sorority, and she graduated in 1949. After several years of teaching, she returned to LSU to earn her masters degree. She married Al Steinmuller in the 1950s and became very active in Delta Gamma, serving as alumni president and house corporation president during the construction of the sorority's house on the LSU campus.
