Meredith, Ann P.

Photographer, artist, filmmaker, writer, and community organizer, Ann P. Meredith was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Much of her work documents women and includes Relativity in the Eighties (women and aging), Don't Call Me Honey (working women), Dykes and Their Dogs, Reaching Common Ground (International Conference on Women, Nairobi, Kenya, 1985) and The Big Picture (United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women, Beijing, China, 1995). Since the 1970s she has exhibited widely, and in 1994 she was the recipient of the Lila Wallace - Reader's Digest international artist fellowship.
