Moore, Mary,
Mary Moore was the daughter of a Trenton businessman. She met Erza Pound in the summer of 1907, and they began a correspondence that lasted for fifty years. Pound dedicated his Personae to "Mary Moore of Trenton if she wants it." After an abortive engagement with Pound, she eventually married Frederick Cross. Mary Moore died in 1976.
