Cardon, Joseph E. (Joseph Emanuel), 1872-1956
Variant namesJoseph E. Cardon (1872-1956) was a teacher, businessman, and politician in Utah. He served a mission to the Northern States Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints between 1896 and 1899. He served as editor of the Liahona journal between 1913 and 1916. He was also elected to the Utah State Legislature in 1912 and served four terms.

Joseph Emanuel Cardon was born in 1872 in Logan, Cache, Utah. He was the editor of The Liahona for many years. He married Sarah Sophia Wilson on 16 September 1896 in Logan. Jospeh died 19 July 1956 in Logan, Cache, Utah.
