Settled in Crowell, Foard County, Texas, in 1892. Taught school at Diantha, Texas, from 1901-1902. Married N. J. Roberts in 1906. Served as Foard County Chairperson of the following events: National League for Women's Service (1917-1919), George Washington Bicentennial Celebration (1932), Texas Centennial (1936). Member of the Order of Eastern Star and National Youth Administration Advisory Board. Served as a delegate to State Democratic Convention in 1948.
