Bright, Holbert Detroy, 1919-
Bright served in the U.S. Army from 1942-1945 during World War II. He was first assigned to the 2nd Division of the 9th Infantry, and later was a member of the 144th Field Artillery Unit in Europe. He worked as a foot messenger and achieved the rank of private first class.
