Anderson, Joseph McDaniel.
Anderson was a resident of Salem, Washington County, Ind. He served with the 50th Indiana Volunteer Regiment, Company C, during the Civil War. The regiment saw duty along the line of the Louisville and Nashville Railroad; in Jackson and Memphis, Tenn.; and in Little Rock, Arkansas. The 50th regiment was consolidated with the 52nd regiment.
