Merwin L. Bohan was a Foreign Service officer from 1928 to 1955. He was Counselor for Economic Affairs for the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City, Mexico, from 1945 to 1949 and Ambassador to the Inter-American Economic and Social Council from 1951 to 1955.
