The Order of Shepherds of Bethlehem was a women's auxiliary to the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. A meeting at the Anna Camp’s building at Girard and Hutchinson organized October 30, 1899. The camp was instituted at the hall of Star of the East Lodge No. 2, Order of Shepherds of Bethlehem, by the WG Commander Lady Eva Wyckoff with approximately 60 charter members.
