Plowman, Katharine A., (Katharine Ann), 1901-

Captain Katharine Ann Plowman enlisted into the Active Army Reserve 6 April 1942. She was assigned to the 1326th Service Unit, Station Hospital, Camp Lee, Virginia from her enlistment until June 1944. She was transferred to the 5th Auxiliary Surgeon Group and arrived in the United Kingdom 30 July 1944. She was sent to France, Holland and Germany and saw service with the 91st Evacuation Hospital, 97th Evacuation Hospital (Semi-Mobile), 100th Evacuation Hospital, and the 67th and 15th General Hospitals. On 8 March 1945, she was accepted into the Regular Army. On 25 October, Plowman returned to the States. In November, Plowman out-processed from 1262nd Separation Center Unit, Fort Dix, New Jersey. She was officially discharged from the service on 11 January 1946.
