Webb, James E., b.1840.
James E. Webb, lawyer, was born in 1840 in Greene Co., Ala. He graduated from University of Ala. in 1859. He served in the Civil War, 1861-1865. Apparently he practiced law in Greensboro, Ala. from 1865 to 1885 when he formed a law partnership with John T. Tillman in Birmingham, Ala. In 1866 he married Zemma Cresswell.
