Towne, Bertram C.,
Photographer Bertram C. Towne was active in Portland, Oregon, 1884-1895. From 1884-1887, Towne and Elbridge W. Moore operated the San Francisco Gallery, also listed as "Towne & Moore," in Portland as partners, but from 1888-1895, the company was known as the "B.C. Towne Photograph Company." Towne's studio was one of the premier galleries in Portland.
