Gould, J. Sutherland
Variant namesHMS Liverpool, a man-of-war of 50 guns, was built at Blackwall, London, in 1814 and sold at Bombay in 1822. In 1819, commanded by Captain Francis Augustus Collier, it took part in operations against the pirates of Ras-al-Khyma in the Persian Gulf.
