Overland Society.

The Overland Society was formed for the express purpose of publishing Overland after Stephen Murray-Smith, the founding editor, died in 1988. The Overland Society was incorporated on 9th May 1990. Some records prior to this date were handed over by Nita Murray-Smith to ensure smooth transition of publication; these are included with those of the Overland Society Ltd. These records cover the editorships of Barrett Reid (1988-1993) and John McLaren (1993-1995). The editorial records from 1988-1993 are to be found in the Barrett Reid Collection.
