Emery, David (fl.1831-1838: physician)
David Emery originated from Ayr, South Ayrshire, Scotland. It appears that around 1838 he attended the classes of Dr John Burns (1774-1850), Regius Professor of Surgery at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, from 1815-1850. Prior to this, David had already been making case notes at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary .
