Historian, author and journalist. Literary Editor, "National Times", 1978-1980. Since 1980 has published a number of novels, including a series of crime novels featuring fictional private investigator Cliff Hardy and another series, commenced in 1985, featuring fictional Melbourne-based spy, Ray Crawley. Corris has also published non-fiction books, including "Lords of the ring" (1980), a history of Australian boxing.
