John Theodore Dodd (1848-1934) entered Christ Church, Oxford, in 1867 (B.A., 1871; M.A., 1874). He became a barrister-at-law at Lincoln's Inn in 1874, and Guardian of the Poor Law for the City of Oxford.
Edward Dodd (1806-1868) entered Magadelene College, Cambridge, in 1824 (B.A., 1828; M.A., 1833; B.D., 1840), where he became a Fellow. He was Vicar of St Giles' with St Peter's, Cambridge, 1844-1868.
