AFL-CIO Western Kentucky Area Council
The Western Kentucky Area Council became a regional labor council of the AFL-CIO soon after the merger of the American Federation of Labor and the Congress of Industrial Organizations in 1955. The organization presently operates as a state federation of labor to improve the lives of working families and to bring economic justice to the workplace.
