John, Bishop of Alaska, 1880-1959.
John (Zlobin) was born in Russia, emigrated to Canada in 1910 and ordained in 1911. He served parishes in Canada and the United States before being transferred to Alaska in 1929. He served as Bishop of Alaska, 1946-1953, and retired to St. Tikhon's Monastery in South Canaan, Pennsylvania.
