Chip Ward received a B.A. from Tufts University and a M.L.I.S. from Brigham Young University. He has been a teacher, reporter, resort manager, guest ranch operator, and the Assistant Director for the Salt Lake City Public Library system. He is the co-founder of Wester Desert HEAL, co-founder of Families Against Incinerator Risk, co-founder of Citizens Against Chlorine Contamination, and co-founder of HEAL Utah.
