Keller, William 1824-
William Keller was the son of Daniel Keller, Jr., a potter from Pennsylvania. William was born in Indiana on 23 May 1824 and like his father was also a potter. He lived in Floyd County, Indiana in the towns of Galena and New Albany. William's brother Lewis Alexander Keller attended Indiana Asbury University (later DePauw University). He was expelled from there and afterward studied law at Indiana University, graduated in 1854, and died in Mt. Carmel, Illinois in 1856. The Ramey family correspondents from Pennsylvania were cousins of the Kellers.
