Marcia Roberta Caulton was born on January 13, 1959, to George Washington Caulton and Rosie Edmondson Caulton at Cincinnati General Hospital. She graduated from Hughes High School in June of 1977. She continued her education at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. In 1985, she was hired as a Media Services Technician in the Media Department at Cincinnati Technical College. In 1994, the school changed its name to Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. Ten years later, she became Assistant to the Director of Student Activities where was able to interact with both students and fellow staff members. She was involved in several churches, choir groups, and drama clubs. She passed away on August 8, 2012, at the Blue Ash Hospice of Cincinnati.
