Keenan, Jerry.
The original Lightning Tree was founded by the late Jene Lyon in the early 1970s. The business was a member of the Rocky Mountain Book Publishers Association. On 30 September 1991, Jerry Keenan acquired the press and its existing inventory from Jene and Jetta Lyon. Keenan subsequently changed the name of the press to Lightning Tree Press. After that only two new titles were published under the new name.
