Moore, Arthur Ulric, 1903-

Class of 1927, M.A. 1928, Ph.D. 1936. Arthur Ulric Moore came to Cornell in 1921, entering the College of Architecture, but transferring to Arts and Sciences the following year. He received his B.A., with a major in English and went on to obtain an M.A. the following year with a major in Dramatic Production under Professor A. M. Drummond. From 1929 to 1932, he served as an Assistant Professor in English and Public Speakinga th Washington and Lee University. He returned to Cornell in 1932 to begin graduate study in Drama and Theatre with Professor Drummond, and became a member of the Cornell University Theatre staff for four years and the Summer Theatre staff during the summer session. In 1934-35, he was an instructor in Public Speaking and taught makeup in the Summer Theatre.
