Ellis, Marie M. Hardee, ca. 1869-1950.
Marie M. Hardee Ellis (ca. 1869-1950) was the daughter of John Lewis Hardee (1837-1891) and the grandaughter of Noble Andrew Hardee (1805-1867). She was also the sister of Noble Andrew Hardee (ca. 1865-1928), a Savannah musician who studied both locally and in Germany. Marie Hardee married Charles Ellis and had four children. She died in Savannah, Georgia on October 28, 1950.
