B'nai B'rith. Abraham Lodge No. 58 (Indianapolis, Ind.)
The B'nai B'rith Abraham Lodge No. 58 was established in 1864, followed by the Esther Lodge in the 1880s. The two merged in 1907-1908 to form the Indianapolis Lodge. It plays an important role in philanthropic activities, service to the Jewish and non-Jewish communities, and political leadership for the city's Jewish population.
