Henriguez, Carlos.
Henriguez was the Minister of Sports for the Gomez government in Cuba. He brought Auburn and Villanova Universities to Havana to play football. This was Auburn's first bowl game, dubbed the "Havana Bowl." Batista overthrew Gomez in a coup d'etat a few days before the game (Jan. 1, 1937). The teams tied, 7-7.
