Theobald, Edward S.

Named by Kentucky governor James F. Robinson (1800-1882) to serve as the state's financial agent to obtain federal monies for Kentucky's Union Militia, Edward S. Theobald travelled to Washington, D.C., in 1863 in order to plead Kentucky's case before top-ranking federal officials.
