Resident of Lawton, Okla.; b. Mildred Klein in Bristol, Iowa; moved with family to Lawton in early 1900s where she attended local schools, graduating from Cameron State School of Agriculture in 1914; taught at Bishop School and then in Lawton at Lincoln School, as well as schools in Texas; husband had grocery store on C Ave., Lawton, for many years.
