Orlando Swift of New Britain, CT, pursued a course in civil engineering while at Norwich University. He participated in football and track and was an expert marksman with rifle and pistol as well as a sabre expert. Swift served on the winter carnival and sophomore banquet committees. He was a member of the outing club and the Skull and Swords and also served on the staffs of the Guidon and War Whoop.
