Miller, Harry Willis, 1879-1977
Variant namesHarry W. Miller, the well known, "China Doctor," was a missionary doctor and surgeon, and founder of more than 15 Seventh-day Adventist hospitals around the world. He was a consulting physican to three United States presidents as well as physician to Chou En-lai, Madame Chiang Kai-Shek, and Sun Yat-Sen. Miller was also a pioneer in the use of soy beans.
