Sanders, Eunice Holmes, 1887-1984.
Eunice Harriet Sanders, 1887-1984, was born Eunice Holmes in Nevada, Missouri. Eunice Holmes was a Red Cross nurse in Kansas City attached to Unit 2, Kansas City Emergency Detachment when she transferred to Base Hospital No. 21, St. Louis on May 5, 1917. She left St. Louis for New York May 17, 1917 and served in Rouen, France from June 1917 to the end of 1918. After working as a public health nurse in the Kansas City area, she married Jean Sanders.
