Lasher, George Starr, 1885-1964
Variant namesGeorge Starr Lasher was the first professor of journalism at Ohio University beginning in 1924 and instrumental in the creation of a School of Journalism. He also founded the interfraternity program known as "Greek Week" in 1930.
