The Industrial Education Dames of Penn State was a group formed by Mrs. John Friese in 1936, inspired by a similar club at the Iowa State College. The purpose of the club was to develop closer social relationships among wives of faculty members and wives of students pursuing careers related to industrial education. The meetings featured a short business session, a speaker presentation, entertainment, and refreshments.
