Brinsdon, John A. H.
The "Red Shirts" were organized as a mounted light artillery company on February 2, 1878. On August 28, 1880, the Redshirts disbanded, reorganized and called themselves the "Flying Artillery" and organized for the 1880 political campaign. The orderly sergeant from 1878-1880 was John A. H. Brinsdon.
