Alexander Sympson Woman's Relief Corps No. 70. (Carthage, Ill.)
Founded in 1887 in Carthage, Ill. as the woman's auxiliary to Alexander Sympson Post 455 of the Grand Army of the Republic in order to assist the post in their efforts to aid and assist Civil War veterans and their families.
